The British School of Brasilia (BSB), is an independent, coeducational and non-denominational school providing World Class Education to Brazilian and international students in Brasilia.

BSB offers Early Years and Primary education in Asa Sul, in the Plano Piloto of Brasilia.  The historic landmark campus building was designed by Oscar Niemeyer, and complemented with murals from Athos Bulcão.

Mr Stewart Fry, Chairman of BSF, said: “We have a long tradition of providing quality British education across the world from the Americas to Europe and Asia. At every school within the organisation we provide children with the best opportunities to thrive not only in an academic setting, but also through a range of activities in sports, music and other extra curricular activities."

“As the capital of Brazil, an increasingly important player on the world stage, Brasilia has a growing need for quality international schools. As the need for school places from multinationals and diplomatic missions mounts, BSB will be a great choice for those looking for their children to have a truly global education.”

Ms Tracey Thomas, Headteacher at BSB, commented: “At BSB, we ensure every child achieves their potential and more. We believe in educating the whole child and we work hard to create an environment where children enjoy learning and feel safe and confident to participate.  We believe that children should have fun while they are at school and that mistakes are simply learning opportunities. Our aim isn’t just to prepare students for further education but for success in life as a whole.”

BSB becomes the 11th member of the BSF family. More than 4,000 students between the ages of 2 and 18 attend BSF schools in Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Marbella, Moscow, Nanjing, New York, Pamplona, Sao Paulo, Tashkent and Yangon.
