BSF Student Survey

The most important part of our community is of course our students and their voice is crucial.

Every year during Term 3, each BSF school conducts a thorough self evaluation of standards and performance over the last 12 months.

An integral part of that process is asking all parents to offer their feedback on what we are doing well and what we need to improve via the annual parent survey. We always find this information incredibly informative and ensure that it is used in school improvement planning for the following year.

The most important part of our community is of course our students and their voice is crucial. Throughout the year, we gather their views on the school through group interviews and student council meetings. This often leads to improvements that have a real impact on their day to day educational experience.

This year we plan to further complement the cycle of interviews and council meetings with an individual student survey. The survey will be offered to all students from Year 3 upwards.

This will ensure that students have the opportunity to share their personal viewpoint on their school and suggest improvements.

We see this as a great opportunity for pupils to reflect upon and express their personal opinions with a view of positively affecting their school community. As an important part of their personal development, the surveys will be completed as part of our PSHE programme in term 3. Of course, we will ensure that the results are shared with the whole community.

We believe that this new initiative will be welcomed by students and have a significant impact in achieving the highest standards in our schools.
